Using our own plant, machinery and the latest dual grade laser equipment, Benjamin Michael cuts thousands of metres worth of trenches every year. We evaluates all possibilities and take in to account important factors that must be considered including; gradient of the site, system impact, percolation test and ease of access for our plant and machinery.

Underground foul systems must be installed correctly ensuring maintenance access, maintaining the correct gradient fall and allow the effective evacuation of waste from the property. Benjamin Michael are capable of designing and installing efficient foul systems using our own plant and machinery.
The purpose of this system is to separate the foul and storm water on your property.
The soakaway collects and stores the storm water using a series of durable crates that interlock gets surrounded by a membrane and sunk in the ground. They can be installed under drive ways or in the garden, once connected the soakaway is covered with aggregate, backfilled with spoil and re-turfed.
Following a downpour and over a number of hours the contained water will efficiently disperse into the adjacent soil. To calculate the exact size of the system we shall carry out and record a percolation test, this test will identify the density of the ground and determine the capabilities of dissolving large volumes of water. A copy of the test results will be submitted to the relevant authorities.
